The coop plans are great. Wheels not so much.
We first used your original plans for wheels and then decided to change them to the caster wheels. The wheels we chose look like yours.
Neither of them work well. I have even added metal brackets to support the uprights and corners. No luck.
Would love to hear some suggestions.
I have a hard time making suggestions without more information. My first thought is the wheels are low quality or not rated for a high weight. The ones I bought are a bit expensive but they have not broken in 2 years of use. You can reach out via email with pictures of your wheel assembly and I can see if I have any other suggestions.
I have to put the wheels on yet, but thus far has been a simple build. Just time consuming. Like anything in life things that a hard are usually worth the effort. There is a lot of the same information on the website. For ease of build, the plans include length of boards to cut. This is worth the low fee! I like my new chicken tractor! How to you pull it around? Is a tow rope necessary?
